Social Media strategy for health coaches

How important is Social Media

Social media is a great way to reach your target audience and build your brand. You can use social media to market, promote and sell your products or services. It's also a good way to stay connected with people in the health industry, as well as reach out to potential customers who may be interested in what you have to offer.

Social media provides a lot of benefits for health coaches because it allows them to share their content on the platform at no cost (aside from time spent creating it), which can help them grow their business quickly without spending money on advertising or hiring new employees.

5 tips for a successful social media account

A social media strategy should be built around you as a person. Your posts should reflect who you are and what interests you, not just the services that you can provide.

Your goal is to build a community so that when people need help, they turn to you first. A good way to do this is by sharing stories and tips from your own life that might resonate with others in the same situation.

The best thing about social media is that it allows us to connect with people from all over the world from the comfort of our own homes. If someone comments on one of your posts or follows you back, it’s important for them to feel like there’s some sort of connection between both parties rather than simply looking at each other as another face in cyberspace.

In order for someone else (in person) to feel like they know me after meeting me at an event, I have made sure that my Facebook page looks professional but still puts my personality front and center too (I'm also pretty funny...). In today's day & age where everyone has something/someone else competing against them 24/7 via digital platforms including Twitter & Instagram etc., we need something unique that sets us apart - so why not yourself?

Tailor your service to a target audience

Your brand won’t work if you don’t tailor it to a specific target audience.

In order for your service to be effective, you need to approach it from the perspective of your customer. This means that you need to decide on a target customer who will benefit from what you are offering and then use that group as the foundation for everything that follows: content creation, brand design, marketing plans, social media strategy…everything.

Be a real person

Social media is a place to be real.

Be yourself, and share what you’re up to. Share your interests, hobbies, opinion, struggles, successes, and failures. Share your goals for the future and the values that inform your life today. Share what motivates you in business and in life and how those things intersect with one another. Show people how they can be more like themselves by following their dreams—and show them how they can achieve those same dreams along with you!

Share value

To help you share values, here are some ideas:

  • Post content that is valuable and relevant to your audience. If you can't seem to find anything worth sharing, ask your followers what they're interested in hearing about. Then, leverage that knowledge by providing that information in a blog post or video series. Or if you have the time and energy for it, engage with your audience on social media by responding directly to the questions they have asked. You can also help them learn more about something specific by writing an article that covers their question thoroughly.

  • Share value regularly! A common mistake many people make is only posting once or twice a week on social media—this is not enough for success! It's important not only for consistency but also because there will be times when someone has questions about what you've posted before; so if they don't see any new posts from you within two weeks of seeing one from last month? They may forget who exactly sent them those amazing tips on how to grow organic herbs indoors without spending too much money...

Post regularly

Posting regularly is very important to growing your business. Regular posts help keep your followers engaged, and it's the best way to get new followers and more engagement.

To post regularly, you need to do the following:

  • Be consistent about when you post each day. The best time of day for posting is between 6-8 pm EST, but don't lose sleep over this—just stick with a regular schedule that works within your life so that you can maintain consistency without going crazy trying to figure out when everyone else is posting.

  • Have a content plan so that every week/month/quarter, there will always be something new on social media platforms (even if it's just a link back to an old blog post).

  • Facebook: Minimum 3 times a week,

  • Instagram: 2 posts a week, plus two reels and daily stories.

  • Pinterest: Minimum 5 times in the beginning, then at least one post per day thereafter.

You should also consider posting on other social media platforms such as Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc., depending on the audience you are targeting.

Sell yourself through stories and common problem

Social media is the perfect place to get your health coaching message out into the world. On social media, the more specific you can be, the better. Make sure that when you're sharing a success story or solution to a common problem, that you share all of the details: what happened, who was involved and how they reacted (if they had any), why it worked/how it worked/what actions led up to this result. You should also include resources or links where people can find more information related to what you've shared so they can take action themselves on their own.

Use popular hashtags

The hashtags you use can make or break your social media presence, so it's important to choose wisely. Make sure you are using popular hashtags that will attract the attention of other users but avoid overused hashtags that have lost their effectiveness. Social media users love seeing trending topics, so try to align yourself with current events and other topics within your industry.

Be patient more followers are not quality followers

When you are just getting started with social media, it can be easy to get caught up in the numbers. You want more followers and retweets, but these are not always the best indicators of success.

It’s important to remember that quality over quantity is what matters most when building an audience online. If you have one hundred followers who interact with you regularly than one thousand who only come to see your posts once, which would you rather have? Make sure your content strategy includes regular engagement with those who follow your page as well as posting valuable information that will help others live healthier lives!

Make sure you answer all the questions and use your own strategy to grow your coaching business.

Now that you’ve got your social media strategy and a handle on which platforms will best serve your needs, it’s time to get started. The first thing you need to do is make sure all of the pages are connected and functioning properly. Then, start engaging with your audience.

You should also be thinking about how your brand can grow organically through social media channels. If a post gets a lot of engagement, consider posting more like it in the future!
