What can a virtual assistant do for me?

Help Your Business Grow with a Virtual Assistant

So, you’ve grown your business and things are picking up. Your brand is killing it, and all the responsibilities of management are killing you. It’s time to hire a virtual assistant! Tech startup, brick and mortar, influencer; no matter your business, a virtual assistant can perform those tedious office tasks while you focus on what’s important – growing your business.

Efficient Administrative Support

Virtual assistants specialize in a host of admin tasks to make running your business easier. Whether it’s data research, data entry, or email management, your virtual assistant can make sure you have the relevant info at your fingertips, in the right format, and whenever you need it. You’ll also never have to dread opening your email again. If you routinely meet clients or network in person, they can book travel and accommodations for you, freeing you up to work on your next pitch or presentation.

Your virtual assistant can greatly lower operating costs. Not only do they free up your time, but since they are independent contractors, you only need to pay them for the tasks they perform. If there’s any downtime, they’re off the clock, saving you from paying a full-time employee for sitting at the water cooler.

Graphic and Web Design Services

Let’s face it, not everyone is an artist. Unfortunately, marketing is an art form and requires dedicated staff to develop, produce, and distribute your brand. Virtual assistants bring a wealth of design experience to any business and can take social media management, web design, and graphic design tasks off your hands. Whether you need to create and schedule posts on your social media accounts, don’t feel like learning Wix web design yourself, or have no skills in graphic design for marketing materials, your virtual assistant has it all covered.

One danger of a small operation is the skill gap; you can’t be good at everything. An experienced virtual assistant will have the skills necessary to fill the gap. This works great when you have enough design projects to drive you crazy, but not enough to warrant hiring a full-time designer. You can pay your virtual assistant only for the projects they work on.

Customer Outreach and Brand Visibility

Not a people person? You’d rather focus on turning out the best product? Your virtual assistant can take customer service duties off your hands. You won’t have to curate your mailing list or use valuable time to write your monthly newsletter. Your virtual assistant can also set up auto-responders and email signatures to fit your customer service needs.

And if you’re worried about customer engagement, your virtual assistant can help with content creation. No more bland and uninspiring blog posts or articles. Your corner of the internet will inform, excite, and engage new and existing customers.

The Smart Choice for a Growing Business

Virtual assistants provide a wide array of services for any business owner; however, the most salient advantage they have over a traditional admin or executive assistant is value. As independent contractors, virtual assistants don’t require benefits, sick days, or office space; and you pay only for the services you need. Whether it’s admin duties, design help, or customer service, go ahead and hire a virtual assistant with the experience to support your growing brand.

Terrific food for thought about the skill gap. We all try to do everything and be everywhere but risk missing out on important productivity time struggling with something outside our skill set, why do this when we can so easily get some help and save time.
